Most of the islands located off Washington State have either paved or non-paved roads. A bridge connects the Washington State mainland to Fidalgo Island and another one connects Fidalgo to Whidbey Island.
Ferry service is available to San Juan Island, Shaw Island, Orcas Island and Whidbey Island.
